Jenn completed a law degree and Masters in Law before emigrating to New Zealand in 2007. Since 2010 she has worked in regulatory compliance and has been an Alcohol Licensing Inspector for seven years. Jenn has also been President of the New Zealand Institute of Liquor Licensing Inspectors. Jenn has a wealth of advocacy experience appearing in front of the Christchurch District Licensing Committee and the Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority.
Helene started out in the NZ Police and eventually moved into the role of Alcohol Licensing Inspector where she has been working for the past 16 years. During this time Helene has also been a member of the New Zealand Institute of Liquor Licensing Inspectors and recently sat on the committee.
Al was in the NZ Police for over 20 years and headed up the Alcohol Licensing Team for nine years. He left the NZ Police to become a District Licensing Committee (DLC) Commissioner for four Councils and held these positions for five years. Al has been involved in the training of DLC’s and agencies, as well as sitting on a National Advisory Group for DLC’s. Al is the author of an online Alcohol Caselaw Companion.
